I agree that he's a nice offensive player. I just don't think he's a particularly good fit for either SoCal team.

But I dont really see why anaheim couldnt use a guy like that... like am i missing something or who do they have past zegras, terry that rack up points and are highly offensive. I mean besides mctavish I think olofsson slots in perfectly for anaheim as hes better, than comtois, steel, lundstrom, jones, silverberg etc

Looking at the big picture, only 9 teams were worse defensively than Anaheim this past season, and Buffalo was one of them, giving up a quarter of a goal more per game than the Ducks. Meanwhile, the two teams were equally feckless offensively, so I just don't see a need for your worst forward defensively. It's not as if we'd be adding a 40-goal scorer with defensive deficiencies.
