Truthfully, no not really fan of a east division team but quick makes to much money, Roy played like 12 games due him being hurt, ok my fault on moore but walker to make room for durzi and spence it’s not a bad trade
Quick makes $2.5 million this season. Cap hit is utterly irrelevant to a team that has no cap issues.
Roy played 67 games and was our best defensive defenseman this past season. His trade value is probably two first-half seconds but due to his unique position on the roster (we have no internal replacement for him), we won't be trading him at all, let alone for two virtually worthless assets.
Moore was one of the five players who vastly exceeded our expectations for them this season (the others being Danault, Arvidsson, Kempe and Durzi).
Walker is worth a late second or early third, a value reduced by his injury. Pittsburgh would have to add substantially for us to consider taking Zucker, who again is surplus to our needs and thus virtually worthless to us, off their hands.
Durzi has proven himself an NHL-quality second- or third-pairing offensive defenseman. He'll be getting more than $1 million -- probably twice that.
