"Low end 2C" that is locked and has a high ceiling. Why would they give up assets for a guy they can just overpay to acquire in FA?

Well if we’re going to get into the weeds on that one…the devils would jsut have the same opportunity as 32 teams to sign him. I think its a pretty safe assumption that if pastrnak isn’t traded this summer, he’s in boston long term.
