Like the build, but I think there maybe a need to add another offensive weapon, possibly for a first and some cap. Just feel they are a gun short. Not sure that 8x8.25 is going to age well but not sure if they have a choice.

I don't see much of a market for Wheeler until the TDL in his last year of his contract. While he is still productive at 0.92 P/GP in each of the past three seasons, that contract will be tough to fit in for more than a partial season (if there is no salary retention). Edit: I don't see the jets being interested in retaining for 2yrs

You made it sound as he is signed for 6 years meanwhile he has 2 years left, just like Scheifele.

This trade with DeMelo added isn't that one sided as most of the Scheifele trades around here. Scheifele isn't an elite two way center for sure but DeBrusk doesn't have half his value anyway.

PPG every season 1C and you have max one more season from bergeron. yes he’s been very bad defensively but he’s been playing like he wants to get traded under a ****ty coach who shows him no discipline. very confident he’d turn it around in boston and seems like a good fit

Turn it around? Scheifele has sucked defensively his entire career. I’m not necessarily opposed to him on the bruins, but I’m opposed to anything close to the proposed prices here. 1st, prospect, okay roster player.
