Yes, JT largely played C this season (out of necessity) but also had success on the Wing. Arguably, he is a better winger than a centre. Plus he gives the team flexibility to take faceoffs in lieu of a Hischier (career 52%) and Hughes (career 35%). He is also a player who can keep up with NJDs faster players and provides size, durability and leadership to a young squad.

I would expect the Devils to be able to offer him a 7x$8.5M (AAV) deal and reap the value at least until year 4.

DiPietro gives an additional option in goal and has been surpassed on the depth chart by Arturs Silovs. He needs a new opportunity and is driven to succeed.

Hoglander is a quality piece, who can round out the deal, provide positive contributions in terms of possession and driving play.
