Johnny Gaudreau gets probably close to $11 million or more. I don’t think Buffalo is that interested in Konecny as to give up Olofsson to get him. 2 3rd round picks is not really enough to take on it a $7 million cap hit even for one year. Not saying Buffalo wouldn’t take JVR from you, and they would be happy to throw Bjork your way. They don’t care if he has negative value to you, bury him in the minors for the year.

I'd do that for Buffalo for a 2024 2nd and 3rd. Bjork is a decent throw in as a cap offset
