Why on earth would you want to trade Caufield! Please stop this ridiculousness! Every time the Habs get a good prospect who has a shot a being a great player fans want them traded for the next good prospect who could be a great player. Is what you have never good enough?! Be happy that we have Zuke, Caufield, Wright and others instead of always trying to move them for what's next. 9 times out of 10 you make the team worse because that next big thing isn't half as good as what you gave up!

unless their 2OA turns out to be an absolute bust i don’t see any reason to believe the 2OA + holtz combo wouldn’t have a strong chance at bringing more value than caufield alone, not to mention the cap dump you added. holtz is in a pretty similar spot to caufield last year, elite production in the lower league and making the full-time nhl jump the next year. not saying he’ll be as good, but it’s certainly very possible, and then there was 2OA as well also in that package.

I find the hate on here for the Habs is unbelievable. It has got to be something to do being one of the most storied franchises in sports.

People are jealous of our history so they go on this site to say that Caufield and Suzuki are worth second rd picks, and the rest of the team is a cap dump.

Maybe far fetch, but he (caufield) could hit 100 pts in a season. We all new Matt Tkachuk is good but no one thought he'd get a 100 pt season. I could see Caufield pulling it off. A player of that magnitude costs a lot.

AZ just needs talent lots of it. Caufield is nice but AZ is so far away they need the talent that are top picks.
