Dumoulin, 1st for Bennett is what I think. To add montour I think we add a spec like Lagere or a pick like a 2nd

Panthers need a big and physical defenseman. Most likely they would ask for that over a pick.

Kappy's QO is actually about $800,000. The reason he would get more in arbitration is because of his bonuses.

I believe under the new QO rules, it's closer to his 3.2m cap hit than his 2.3m salary last season. But Kapanen is eligible for salary arbitration, I'm kinda doubting he takes. 2.75m X 4 years deal.
But I do like the your thought on the Florida trade.

His salary last year was $800K and his QO under the current rules is $840K

I am not a Bennett fan overall, and I think that his contract is too much. I would rather keep Blueger and the 2nds (and the other stuff) than being Bennett in.

Yea I've never been a Bennett fan. But give him credit, after being traded to Florida he had a great ten games got a nice contract. And he did have a good 21/22 season
