Description

This is a wishlist. I dont believe that Sweeney will pull of these moves, but I believe they are all a possibility. Rielly is left expendable after the Lindholm trade and would certainly attract a few suitors. A Foligno buyout creates the cap space to resign Patrice Bergeron, who decides to come back for one last run. After Swayman steals the starting job, Ullmark waives his NMC to take the starting gig in Washington. Jake DeBrusk's trade request is fulfulled in a trade for Conor Garland. This trade leaves Craig Smith expendable, and he is flipped to Calgary who is starved for scoring depth. The remaining cap space is used to bring in a legit number 2 center in Ryan Strome, and Braden Holtby as a backup.
