Same for Drouin; I’d take a 5 to 7th round pick to money that contract out

I think one of Hoffman or Armia will be traded with Weber's contract to Arizona.

Since MTL is tanking, have Drouin play top 6 and try to raise his value for 2023 trade deadline. If it doesn't work, let him walk next summer.

Petry will be traded this summer for a decent return, probably a late 1st.

Allen will also be traded at 2023 trade deadline.

As for Dvorak, wait until his value gets back to what we paid for him, then trade him. If not, i'd rather keep him than get a 2nd.

      Why Dvorak and Allen?

Have to insulate Wright, Dvorak and Suzuki do that, other wise you're screwing with his development.

Allen is likely our starter next year with Price's future in doubt. Carey already said he doesn't think he can play more then 60 games, that's if he plays at all, Allen will be needed

None they need to keep the tank commanders together, especially after losing Ducharme the commander-in-chief.

I prefer keeping Montembault to push him to his full potential, Allen would have a good return, and you can sign a UFA that has higher capabilities than Allen if Price isn’t going to come back. You can dish out some big dollars for a Goalie for one year a try to stay afloat for the upcoming year.

Dvorak can also be replaced for less cash. If we can get a high 1st to mid 2nd rounder then that would be fine
