When Mrazek was in Detroit he was a RFA and Kenny tried lowballing him with an insulting contract offer. Mrazek took him to arbitration. Kenny didn't like that. They both settled at the ARB hearing and Kenny was mad.

After that Kenny used his press puppets to sling mud at Mrazek any chance he got. Blamed him for losses and coddled his baby boy Jimmy Howard even though Jimmy couldn't stop a beach ball.

Kenny then left Mrazek exposed in the Vegas expansion draft while protecting his baby boy Jimmy Howard. He thought George McPhee would take Mrazek but he didn't. He took Tommy Nosek. Eventually Kenny traded Mrazek to Philly for a bucket of KFC.

Kenny likes players who knuckle under and take what he offers them. He'll reward you for life if you're one of his boys. See Howard, Abdelkader and Helm. But if you're not one of his boys? Oh boy. It's Detroit Grudge City.
