I dont see how this makes them much better. They get rid of 2 top 6 forward for 1, then replace 1 dman with a worse more expensive one. Also Bratt probably makes more. Depending on what Fiala makes. He probably gets a 3/5 year deal at that money

Johnsson and Tatar are more like middle six forwards by now but agree with the rest.
Moving Severson out and replacing with Manson is a clear downgrade.
Seems like Severson is looking to extend in New Jersey anyway.
