Stars need RHDs, not LHDs.

We'll definitely take Marino for that.

Very very very hard pass by the Sabres. I can't see the Sabres giving up a first, let alone a first and their best prospect, not named owner power, for a second pair D, and take a cap dump on top of that.

I assume that this is one of those "little kid" AGMs that we hear about....

That's a top 10 pick that just ripped up the ahl and a 16oa this year- for a left d that we don't need and a cap dump. Horrifically bad. I think it might have been to distract from the fact that we are also trading a 3rd round pick for Brock McGinn that we also don't need.

All answers perfect.
Take out Quinn and the first and I may still pass.
@sabres89 as you said a LHD we do not need and an over paid LW we do not need.
@pitpensfan just because the Sabres have missed the playoffs for 11 consecutive years and Tim Murray made simply terrible trades does not mean Karmanos will continue giving away draft picks for other teams unwanted players.

Botterill was worse. Much much worse. I know you don't agree. I'm dying on this hill. I will agree that adams and crew seem to have this figured out.

I added that comment about Murray to emphasize that there is a new sheriff in town.
Karmanos knows how to make trades and Crowe is a master at drafting, this I believe we both agree.
All of Murray's acquisitions are gone while Skinner for a second, Jokiharju for Nylander, Conor Sheary for a fourth, and Thompson (Johnson and Miller) for O'Reilly are looking really good now. Even Montour for a first was a good deal it was just Kruger made everyone look terrible.
Murray knew about Lehner's demons (BTW I know this for a fact, if I ever meet you I can tell you why), Kane is on his second team already (but wow 10 goals in 10 playoff games!) and let's not forget that the Blues were in last place on New Years until Binnington saved the season.
I will admit the ALL of the moves Botterill made from Jan. 2, 2020 to Feb. 24, 2020 were simply terrible.
But we can agree to disagree, but I see nothing good from Murray, while I see three really good players from Botterill trades still on the team.

EDIT: I forgot ALL of Murray's first round picks are also gone.
It appear Eichel was a cancer.
Reinhart taken second over all and Draisaitl was taken next.
Nylander cannot even put up good AHL stats while Sergachev taken next is a rock solid LHD.

That's reasonable.
I will absolutely admit, I really liked his moves the first year.
Buffalo needed defensemen (look at the defense core from the 2016-'17 season), secondary scoring and playoff experience.
He added all of that with Beaulieu, Scandella, Pominville (both of them had playoff experience), Pouliot, Wilson and Nolan (two rings each).
The Hockey Writers predicted after his moves the Sabres would make the playoffs.
Too many demons in the locker room prevented that from happening.
I do not know what happened the last 2 months but those were all really bad moves he made.
