Description

I do not actually think Nick Paul is worth that much but he will go for a lot as a UFA. Does not have to be Paul, a similar middle 6 player would suffice.

Need to get rid of a D man to let the young guys play and DeMelo is my vote cause he is disposable with a half decent contract

Scheifele has to go, tried to make a fair trade with Philly, not sure about the draft picks but they could be swapped

Just interested in Demelo for Detroit, Demelo for a third or something like that. Stanley might be off interest to a different team. I know you are just getting rid of them for some sort of return though.

Detroit will take that in a second even though they definitely dont need both of them. He’s been one of the best defenseman in the NHL at defense 5 on 5 the last couple yrs

Honestly I was thinking it was Dillon lol. But really I like Demelo as well, could be a replacement for Hronek if they wanted to move him.

I think you maybe confused DeMelo with Schmidt here. DeMelo is our top pair D that meshes perfectly with JMo and advanced stats show is one of the top 10-15 defenders in the NHL on a $3M caphit.

We should move Schmidt if we're moving someone and it will be Kovacevic not Heinola in that spot.
