I'm pretty sure Bertuzzi wouldn't be able to play in any away games in the US because he's still going to have to quarantine. And could only play in half the playoffs games for the same reason. He's not likely a target.

Nobody knows what the vax rules are going to be in 5 months. The leafs can also ask for an exemption just like the NBA does and be granted it. If he's living in CA then the quarantine period of 14 days goes away and he can play in the states

it was a good decision by Dubas at the time, but i doubt the player sees it that way. I just dont see him coming back now.

Who knows, he doesn't owe the Leafs anything but he could still want to play for his hometown team like his dad (but as an impactful player)
