Description
Wright is no longer the number one player in this draft. And could fall to number three since the second team drafting thinks they have good centers (they don't really).

The Habs have Jeff Gorton, one of the best drafters in NHL. So I think Gorton does the right thing and takes Slafkovsky.

Clearly did not follow the Sens this season. Tim Stützle is a C. Like 52 points in 62 games once be made the switch, and had 30 points in the last 25 games or so of the season. Ottawa's best forward in the back half of the season imo.

Wright not going first isn't even close to the worst part about this mock draft which is crazy. Miroshnichenko would't go that high if there wasn't a serious health risk and geekie isn't going top ten. also the fact that cooley even falls out of the top 5 is insane

The Slaf hype needs to stop, he's good, he's big but he's nothing more than a Nichushkin. 20-25 goals maybe in the good environment and that's a wrap, people need to stop assuming he'll be a game changing winger simply because he's physically mature.

The Wings have invested a ton of draft capital on LHD the past few years, so much so that they make up nearly half of their top 15 prospects - Edvinsson, Johansson, Wallinder, Buium, McIsaac, Sebrango and Viro. Their depth on the right side isn't good - though having Seider eases that concern. I'll be surprised if they go in any other direction other than finding a prospect that has a chance to be a #2 center.
