This team is significantly worse than the one that just got bounced in the first round

Why are the leafs paying arizona to take a guy who played like a top pairing defender and shut down a top offence in the league in 7 games?

Reports have basically said that Jack Campbell is signing elsewhere.

No one is giving up those kind of pieces for Alexander Kerfoot.

Philly doesn't need or want Justin Holl.

And fat chance of Jake Muzzin waiving for Arizona, team is a dumpster fire.

“Nobody is giving up those pieces for Alexander Kerfoot” ah yes, a team would be idiotic to trade a 13th forward, a 3rd rounder, and a young 4th liner for a guy coming off a 50 point campaign (without PP time) who plays multiple forward positions and the PK. If I made a mock trade of Clifford, Joey Anderson, and Winnipeg’s 3rd for someone of this caliber, let’s say Jake Debrusk (Debrusk better goal scorer but overall Kerfoot has been the better producer and is more versatile player) then I’d get clowned on for “Leafs bias” and “undervaluing the opposition”.

Also I will add that Holl would be arguably Philly’s best RHD if Ellis isn’t healthy

Chicago wouldn't, they're trying to rebuild. You don't trade draft picks in a rebuild.

CHI is rebuilding, we won't hold interest in this move. He is an upcoming UFA at the end of next year also.

I’m not saying Chicago should do it, but the original team said “no team”, meaning that not even contenders would do this which makes no sense. Chicago shouldn’t pay this because they don’t need to buy rn; but a team looking to buy would easily pay this
