3C) - Sign a Top 9 "versatile" Forward that can Play : 2C / 3C / Top 6 RW === Trocheck
------ *(Keep Geno at 60-65 gms & No more Back to Back gms)
4A) - Get a Real Legit NHL Back-Up or a young up & coming Back-Up Goalie === Comrie
4B) - Get a younger solid #3 Goalie w/ our injury luck === Lankinen

~ [COMTOIS] HUGE fan of the 6'2"/215, net front Beast, had horrible sophomore slump, a buy low, & hope he gets it back, after Traded here.
~ [MOORE] love this kid as a Johnny Marino Jr type RHD Prospect.
-Zucker- still a Top 6-9 LWer, only 30, bad luck in [PIT] w/ injuries & needs change. Perfect vet for young room in [ANA].
-Hallander- 2nd Rd LW/C that should be NHL ready by mid 22'-23'.
-BigZ- 6'7" LW/C, is a NHLer, stuck in AHL.
~ [KUPARI] 6'2" fast & quick fav of mine since Draft yr that could be a 3C / Top 6-9 RWer in a cpl yrs, maybe even more?
~ [FABER] 2nd Rd RHD Prospect, only 6', Elite skater, smart player, & could be a 2nd or 3rd pairing in 3-5yrs.
* Fair Trade : Both Top 9 Wings, Both same age, Both 1st Rdrs, Both RFA's, Both previous NHL success, Both struggled this yr, Both only 11 Goals, & Both finished 31(DG)-34(KK) Points.
~ [FREDERIC]- This team desperately needs a young physical player that also has some speed & skill. I still think Frederic has more skill than shown thus far too.
Kings say no 2 players with a bright future for a player who is 30 is a no-go.
Minnesota definitely says no Hartman brings so much on a great contract and they have roughly 12 million dollars they cant use because of suter and parise buyouts.
Anaheim I could possibly considering.
Good post. I think you have picked some good targets. Some may cost a little more.
Also, I watched a lot of the Pens/Rangers series and for most of it, it didn’t look to me like Pens forwards were getting pushed around as much as you say.
But they did appear unable to dial up the energy at times, especially without 87. Rangers looked younger.
Nothing to interest Anaheim in the slightest (it's particularly laughable to think that the Ducks, who won't be contending next year, would be interested in a 30-year-old rental with a cap hit of $5.5 million) because Comtois is already what you hope Hallander and Zahorna will be.
Kings aren't about to trade Faber and Kupari is expected to fill a position on the third line next season; we could re-sign Alex Edler for less than Brian Dumoulin's cap hit, and we would probably get the same results without having to expend assets to acquire a rental veteran LD; and the idea that we'd want to re-sign Dumoulin once his last year is up is entirely speculative.
a couple players will cost a lil more $ I think but this post has a lot of good ideas...
I'd love to get trochek or Forsberg but I doubt we'll have the $ unless one of geno/tanger leaves...
not a fan of that d-core tho... I don't think Pettersson has shown to be more than a #4 rn so imo we need either 3 2nd pairs with balance or try to get a top-pair D somehow...
