All good. Calling Matt Roy a top pairing d man is more or less like calling Justin Holl a top pair when he played first pair with Muzz last year at times. Both solid d men, but not true top pair guys at all, and much better served as #4 d men playing PK and 20ish mins a night

Matt Roy was serviceable as a top-pair player taking the Oilers to 7 (and a majority of this season), but he is a legit RD2. He provides little in offense but is a true shutdown guy. He's a guy we won't move because the closest guy to him is Faber.

Keep dreaming with that Canes trade, cause you won’t like reality.
