I would love to see him in Van for 2 seasons if we have the space.

Horvat will be playing 2C for a good chunk of time while Geno is out 15-30 games with a torn puss.

If I’m Canucks and I pay Geno that much I’d be pissed. He’s WAY too slow and needs to transition to wing if he really wants to be worth any contract if that sort

It's a lot to pay but I think he would bring a lot to the market and team. Would be a great mentor for podkolzin and kuzmenko (if we land him). He's done everything there is to do in the sport and I think would also be a great guy for Petey and Horvat to learn from. In the end he's still a point per game player when in the lineup. I'd be willing to take the risk on a two year deal as this team grows.
