After hearing some quotes from players or reporters I decided to make this. I dont know how realistic any of it is but oh well

PIT reportedly offered Letang and Malkin 3 years x 5M AAV (per Rob Rossi) which are insulting offers. Friedman has speculated that none of Malkin, Letang, or Rust will be penguins next year. Im not sure what kind of term Malkin would be looking for, but COL can realistically only offer 1 year since they have to extend MacKinnon, Newhook, Byram, etc next year. Malkin has always shied away from media (excuses of poor english) and didnt have to be the face of his team playing behind Crosby his whole career. COL can give him similar protection from media since he wont be the biggest star on the team. Hes already won multiple cups so im not sure if winning will be as big of a factor in his choice of team which could reduce COLs chance at getting him

Giordano has said a chance to win is his top priority as a UFA, but also said "I don’t think it’s a secret I enjoyed my time here" referring to TOR. I think hes open to extending with TOR but would consider other options if he feels they have a better chance to win (which I think COL does with this roster). If Girard is moved he's a good short term option to round out the LD
