Well you showed them as two separate trades. Murphy is worth more then a late 1st obviously, and Holl is a cap dump to the Hawks...he literally carries no value to a rebuilding team who has 2 prospects on the right side who need NHL ice time next season (Regula & Mitchell) and Hirvonen isn't enough to offset that.

If you were to lump the trades into 1 trade, you have....

1st, 2nd, Holl, Mrazek, Abruzzese, Hirvonen

That's certainly enough to get Murphy given the dumps in Holl and Mrazek. However, if mutually exclusive trades you have above just focused on the one for Murphy likely wouldn't get it done for Murphy.

Detroit doesn't want or need Wayne Simmonds, And Detroit sure as hell isn't giving up a potential top 10 pick in the deepest draft in over 20 years. I like William Nylander but we pass.
