Boston was the best team in xGA in the regular season, Grezy mcavoy was one of the best pairs in the NHL this season at 68% expected goal share against tough matchups, grezy carlo did well when on the ice together. Rielly played great with Carlo and mcavoy. Reilly played similarly well with clifton as Forbort. Forbort played much worse with mcavoy and carlo than either of those first two guys. Forbort while a good player should be the one on the move.

The Bruins controlled the play more with Grzelcyk than without him on the ice in the past two playoffs at 5v5 (while he was forced into a bigger role due to Carlo/Lindholm's injuries). It's one thing to not want to match him against 6' 3"+ players, another one to say "he cost the series" which is wrong.

Size and defensive impact have such little correlation. Some of the largest defenseman in the league get the worst contracts bc the teams think that bc they are big frames they'll play great defense.

DeBrusk actually started playing well before going up to the 1st line....it was his play that earn him a shot at the 1RW spot. Boston isn't moving DeBrusk unless they get something that helps them now and improves the team....and Yams isn't it.

Red Wings won't trade for Grzelcyk but you are close to who they would trade for Guentzel. I can see why you made that mistake.
