How do you get upset at the refs when your team hasn't won a round in like 15 years? It's obviously the team/organizations fault

Because the refs literally cost the leafs the most recent series, it is really very simple

The Holl thing was a pretty soft call, but even if that counts it's still 1-1.
Can't exactly assume the team known for choking in crucial moments is going to take and hold the lead against the two time defending champions.

Except that they literally ignored tampa do the same thing holl did on the 2nd goal, and blew a bunch more non calls, thats not even counting the phantom 5 on 3 to gift tampa the tying goal late in game 6, blowing a tackle right in front of them in ot etc etc. The refs gift wrapped two elimination games for tampa by not calling penalties with any consistency. And every time it went in tampas favour. They blew it and Toronto put up as best a fight as any team could give the bolts

Wallinder+Bertuzzi+Vrana+Detroit 2023 1st round pick potential top 10 for Mitch Marner. Marner doesn't have half of that value you hate the Leafs but kill Detroit in the process.
