Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Description

We keep and use the #2 overall pick to draft Juraj Slafkovsky.
Pavel Zacha gets shipped to Anaheim for their 1st round pick they got from Boston.
Andreas Johnsson is traded to Arizona as a contract dump for a 2023 4th round pick.
We use that 2023 4th round pick and Janne Kuokkanen to acquire James Reimer from San Jose.
In Free Agency we sign ( overpay a little ) for Justin Braun to help Ty Smith.

Yeah would rather just do Reimer for a 2nd. If you want to throw in Kuokkanen sure but he doesn’t really fit a need for the Sharks.

Reimer is worth more to SJ than this. make it a 2nd or take Hill instead or it's a pass.

Kuokkanen is too expensive for what he brings. Reedy, Grego and Chmelevski are better and will cost less.

I think Zacha gets Sam Bennett-like return in trade. So late 2nd and meh prospect…or similar value. We would ask for that late 1st, but expect a 2nd.

And I would put Bratt at RW. Think he is a lot better on that side.

Well the point of moving a goalie is we have too many goalie and cap relief. Adding in Kuokkanen depletes the cap relief.

Zacha is a RFA under team control for only two more years and has never scored 40 points in a season, averaging less than half a point a game over his career. Why would Anaheim waste a 2022 first-round draft pick on him? For that matter, why would we waste the 42nd overall selection this year on him?
