Description

Kakko offer sheet terms: MTL acquires for a $5.5M contract, Rangers get a 1st and 3rd in return for 2023

Bozos don't realize that the offer sheet makes sense! Rangers won't match above $3.5M and the Canadiens have the cap space to get a player that has started to come into his own this year in the playoffs. Habs are going to be solid next year if they get him and it would be unlikely that they get a top 5, maybe even top 10 pick.

Don't think he's a bust, defensively he's above average. His offensive ceiling is a lot lower than anticipated. I can see a Nichuskin-like future for him.

If there is an offer sheet HABS will do this summer, it will be for Johnny Hockey 7x $11M and that will not happen since HABS will not give up the possibility of getting Bedard next year

Why would anyone offersheet Kakko? Never even hit 25 points in a season and is terrible in the playoffs. He is the epitome of 'bust'

If anyone offersheets Kakko, it will be at 4.1 to screw the Rags cap over. Assuming NYR match, they go right back and OS Laf at 4.1 or more and the Rags won’t be able to match. I do think if anyone offersheets Kakko, the true intention will be to get Laf for pennies on the dollar.
