Détails additionnels:
Fair deal from both sides. Buff solidifies the right side of their dcore for the future, LA gets the best player in the trade and a great LHD prospect

Lets face it. Dach has been a disapointment and a change of scenery may be good for both sides. Chicago gets another shot at a good player as well as the highest of the 3 second round picks. They also get a great goaltending prospect, who if doesnt sign with them turns into another 2nd round pick.

The trade is inticing, But I think Dach has great potential still, just hasn't had a good coach to help him devolop.

True, but moving 2 dmen for a prospect that doesn't look like he's going to sign with the Sabres anyway, and an offence-only winger that they really don't need seems like a bogey.

Dach was rushed and it hurt his development.

They have Clarke, Faber, Grans. Johnson would strengthen there LD side. Johnson-Faber could be a solid solid pair for a decade, and they know each other from Minnesota

Easy pass from the Hawks. They are better off sticking with the Dach and developing him especially given Drew Commesso being a top goalie prospect and Soderblom has surprised everyone and looked like one of the better goalies in the AHL.

Very unlikely the Kings trade active graduated defensemen for more defensive prospects, in particular Durzi on an ELC. They are also in on Chychrun, so don't expect any assets moved until they are officially out on that.

Grans for Johnson makes sense for both teams. Durzi for the one-dimensional Olofsson makes no sense for Los Angeles.

The value of having substantial defensive depth was shown this season when we lost Drew Doughty, Sean Walker, Mikey Anderson and Matt Roy for extensive time due to injuries, so we'll be loath to surrender more than one defenseman unless the deal makes a lot of sense to us.

You also have clarke and faber in the system, johnson is lhd. Typically teams who are strong in one position they move someone who maybe on the outs (LA right side is doughty, roy, walker, clarke, spence, faber) for a position of need. Olofsson is a better player than durzi but it is always hard arguing with people on this site who overvalue their own players.

Olofsson for durzi is an overpay from buffalo but fits a need so I won't fight it.
