Not an "A" prospect to be seen in the Vancouver trade, just a lot of meh. SMH. The 2023 pick wouldn't be lottery protected either. Literally nothing of interest here for Vancouver.

I like the ideas, but I agree on the comments regarding CHI. Also, I don't see VAN moving EP.

BUT, since this is fantasy, I'd swap Berggren & Vrana to even out the scoring a bit between those top 2 lines.

Issues with the Pettersson trade, Canucks are sending a #1 Centre who was leading the league in goals the last month of the season and a top 4 dman for a 3rd line C, a disappointing player for his draft rating who is a winger, A LD prospect, and the 8th pick from this year which we can't get the top RHD prospects and a lottery protected first.

The canucks are giving up a lot and nothing they need is being filled, no RHD is coming back, we already have a LD prospect, and we have plently of wingers esscperially considering Podkolzin and hoglander are both a couple years younger than Zadina and preformed better. By the time those 2 first round picks develop to nhl level the rest of the core will be in their prime and without a #1 Centre.

There needs to be more for Vancouver’s 1C and #1 shutdown LHD

Pettersson is not a good target. spends more time injured than anything. He is super skilled and can make things happen, but only when he is on the ice. High risk to leverage some good future picks on. Suter & Zadina dont really add any value into this trade.

Debrincat is a no go. You might get Patrick Kane or Toews with that offer. Chicago is a little sketchy right now on rebuild or no rebuild

VAN is not moving Pettersson, it doesn't make sense for them.
