I think he's really good and shouldn't be traded, just need to get someone for the 1st line and put him on the second

Sean Walker and the first-round pick for Kaiden Guhle and one of your two third-round picks wouldn't be a bad idea . . .

If you don't add a Gudas or Deslaurier you gotta keep Anderson.

Don't think Arizona takes Armia with Weber

He doesnt fit our system. Under MSL, we are an east-west team and hes purely north-south

Need to add one of them just as a safety net for the young guys. Without Anderson, Chairot gone and Pezzeta not really being a guy to be scared of it only leaves Edmundson to step up if the need to fight arises.

Brown is retiring and Bergevin has a love for low skilled big men. Kings makes the most sense

Its 2022, not 1995. No one is gonna go head hunt our players on purpose anymore. Those players are a waste of a roster spot

That might be a thing if Bergevin was running the Kings. But he ain't. And you Montreal fans need to stop trying to push an agenda in LA that isn't there. The WHOLE point of the rebuild is to morph from the lower skill, heavy team that won Cups to a team that was able to play with much more pace and skill.

Also, why would Bergevin, who is apparently a smart hockey guy, look at what failed him HORRIBLY in Montreal and say "Hmmm. That's what I want to do in LA"?

Tell that to Zegras or any of the other many young guns who like having a guy they know will stand up for them. Habs aren't trying to win next year anyways, can't have the risk out there when you can easily avoid it.

Bergevin is not the GM of the KIngs and if he was he knows how to get better value from a trade.

Brown is retiring and there are several better UFA options available who can more than meet his 28 points over 64 games at $5+M per. Notably, the Kings will be one of the few teams who can afford Forsberg amongst the other touted UFAs like Nichushkin who you have going to the Habs at $6M. The Kings might make the most sense as an option in terms of a team with a wealth of assets, but they are in the position to find better players than Anderson, especially if that costs the equivalent of a 1st + 2nd/3rd

Your smoking if you think CHI, a rebuilding team is giving up a 1st for Petty a 34+ yr old RD whilst we have Jones and Murphy. I mean thats like us sending Toews your way and wanting your 1st next season.... its just not going to happen.

I mean the Hawks gave up what would be the 6th overall pick for Seth Jones. Tampas 1st is 25-32nd and you get a 3rd back. Value is actually low on the Hawks end

Fail? He went to a cup final. He got 2nd place. Thats not a failure. He got fired for an entire system change

With old desperate management. We have announced a rebuild publicly and the moves made to date suggest that. If your wanting a 1st back for Petry, you will have to look elsewhere cause its certainly not going to be CHI. As you mentioned, we have Seth Jones who plays the right and gave up A LOT for him. If we were to make that wrong move again with Petry, it would be hugely detrimental and set us back even further.
