Description
Starting to believe Josh Roy makes the starting 12 next season. 12 points in 4 playoffs games in the QMJHL... he just keeps getting better. Scored the game winning goal again tonight. Does he really have anything left to prove in the QMJHL? I know it's a big jump to the NHL, but I'm of the impression he's a lot closer to making an impact than Shane Wright. What a steal in the 5th round last year!

They should give him a year at laval to play against men, give him the season, however if he pulls a caufield and plays insane in his couple of games there, they can bring him up

Guessing he spends a year or 2 in the lower leagues but Montreal could really use a draft steal. Brendan Gallagher was over a decade ago.

He can't play in Laval because of that god awful CHL under 20 rule. He either has to go back to Sherbrooke or play in MTL. He's only 18!

Not trading Petry for anything less than a 1st round pick. Even then it isnt worth it unless its unprotected. PM RHD go for a premium and he was excellent under St Louis to finish the season. The contract is not a deterrent, its more than reasonable compared with other deals in the league for top 4 RHD

Lead the Q in scoring in the regular season. Leading the Q in scoring in the playoffs. Our own little Jonathan Huberdeau?

I wish... If he does become good enough to complete the wright-caufield lineup, that would solve a million problems

Send him back to Sherbrooke, our line up is full even without Wright. We need a shot at Connor Bedard

Can we just let him develop physically just like Kidney and others? I don't get the sense of rushing every single guy up by habs fans ffs. Suzuki was sent back for his fourth year following a 100 points season in 64 games, Jason Robertson was sent back down 4 times after their development camp if I'm correct and Jack Hugues could've really use a year in the NCAA. It's not all about points, stop starring at it and let them get stronger, get faster, get smarter.

LET THEM DEVELOP.

I'm not rushing every guy up. I am "rushing" 1 player up who I think has more "mental quickness" than Wright at this point.

Like if he makes it all the way to the memorial cup... putting up a pace of 2 pts per game... At what point is he "developed" enough?
