That JVR deal doesn't make any sense. Johansen put up 63 points this season and wears an A - he's obviously valuable to the team even if he's slightly overpaid. JVR is older and less productive and plays a less valuable position, so I have no idea why Nashville would be making that move. On the other end, Philly feels like they're trying to rebuild so I feel like they'd value picks and prospects over a 29-year old center who just gives them another guy making $7M+ at center - you're either pushing one of him, Couturier, or Hayes to the wing, or you're paying one of them to be an expensive 3C. No thanks on both ends of that trade.
Doesn't make sense for Nashville to trade for Mrazek, either - Saros has proven the past 2 years he can carry a heavy workload (playing in 103 out of a possible 138 games). It's terrible asset management to pay $3.8M for a backup when you have a guy that's going to bang out 60-65 starts. Keep a guy like Connor Ingram at a low cap hit to soak up those 15-20 extra starts and use that $3M you're saving elsewhere on the roster.
Reilly for a 3rd feels like a slam dunk for whoever makes it. Haula for a 3rd is a big underpay, though - he was a solid 2C at a very affordable cap hit. -IF- Boston were to move him they're going to need to be convinced of it, and a 3rd rounder ain't cutting it.
