Burns and Benn have the same term remaining. They’re both over paid but still functioning players. The salary retention on Benn covers the difference in value, so why are the Stars giving up two second round picks for Adin Hill????

Because Burns is a better player than Benn?

Why would Dallas do that? No cap relief and stuck with Burns til he’s 40?

The retention doesn't cover the difference in value lol, Burns could make 9M and Benn could make 7M and Burns would still be the more valuable asset

Not really. He fits in their locker room. They continue to be better than anyone(myself included) gives them credit for. Why mess something up AND burn 2 2nds. Makes zero sense

Agree to disagree. Even if I did give the nod to Burns in value it isn’t two second round picks worth. Or two million in cap space
