Puljujarvi is so overrated. What the heck is this. His last 2 seasons combined average is like 41pts/82 games playing with McDavid , who is known to inflate stats. He’s not worth this even if the analytics say so or he’s really good defensively

I've never seen someone overrate someone so hard and I've seen Montreal fans want an arm and a leg for Drouin.

I took all the other trades as just single players considering JP isn't worth any of them straight up.

Advanced stats say he already has a teammate percentile over competition percentile. 8 percentile shooting for forwards, 13 percentile in power play. known as literally a carried forward and only performs ok with certain forwards. Also 69 percentile WAR most of these players are above your WAR number. So again overrated not only overrated, but also too small of a sample size.

Jarmo already passed on him once at the draft and that choice eventually netted him Laine. He'll continue to pass on him for significantly lower prices than that joke of an offer.

The only guarantees in life are death and taxes. Puljujarvi isn’t guaranteed to start shooting more accurately, and even with his elite advanced stats, he sucks at putting the puck in the back of the net. He is carried by McDavid and no team on here will be stupid enough to make the mistake you want them to.

Ned is probably the worst piece on this list, but I would still take him in goal than take someone who can’t put the puck in the net but has elite advanced stats. Stats are just numbers, they can be padded really easily, see McDavid, or destroyed really easily. They mean nothing if the on ice play isn’t effective.

If you average the three previous years it comes out to 9% and even that is probably a touch high due to his 11.1% last season. It's more likely he's around 8% in a normal season, which is 1.1% higher than this season. Based on his total shots at 5v5 this year, your talking an extra 1-2 goals.
