Habs add two top picks from the '22 draft. They move out some age and salary with Petry. Picking up Comtois is a buy low on a young player who fits the future. The team gets better for a five year window while staying bad for a shot at Bedard.

I actually love the idea of Josh Anderson to the Devils, but certainly not at the cost of a lottery pick. That type of big power winger would fit in great with their smaller, flashier guys. On the other hand, contract and injury concerns.

Flyers don't need Petry, but if we did, we'd need more in return. Desnoyers has much more value than Petry, even with that retention
