I don't think the move makes much sense for either side. The Fiala trade needn't be any more complicated than #7 and Jarventie for the Swiss winger. It's already phenomenal value, I think you're asking far too much of the Sens here.
If Minnesota is going to be locked into a state of moneyball hockey for the next three seasons while looking to retain some sort of competitive relevance, tacking on two years of Zaitsev pushes that cart in the wrong direction. If you can find a way to scrounge out an extra $0.5-1M on this roster, you can fit both Jost and Kulikov and I think the team as a whole is better next season for it. Greig's a great piece, but probably just not happening at this point. I like what Jarventie brings, maybe he plays in Iowa for a half season but the kid's close. One of Slafkovsky, Nazar, Yurov, or Howard are going to be better players for the club long-term anyways.
