Habs fan just saw chariot go for first and a second round prospect. Edmondson is more reliable then chariot.

NJ is no contender and have no need overpaying for assets. Realistically Edmunson nor Chiarot should have this kind of value, it got seriously bloated in that market and FLA is due to regret it pretty soon if Caps drop them.

If we take bad examples to evaluate D-men trade value then after the Risto trade probably 75-80% of the defensemen in the league are worth at least a first round pick
