Reilly might have raised his price last night. He was phenomenal.

Trading Beauvillier for a 3rd pair caliber D is a bad idea.

    Bos trade is fine.
Ottawa won't take Bailey, he it a fit for Ari as his cap is $5M but real salary is only $3.5M.
Sea trade is just horrible for the Isles, a really really bad trade.
Dobson is going to get more, he is probably going to look for a long term deal.

He played well. He played 14 minutes which indicates they were sheltered minutes and blocked 1 shot. Forbort played 23 minutes and blocked 9 shots. How would you say he played?

Both were fantastic. Most bruins were pretty solid. I saw some gaps in craig smiths game where I’ve seen more from him. Marchand was putrid until he scored, then he was back. I didn’t like pastrnak’s game. I would be trying to limit his minutes.

The problem with trying to limit his minutes is the players who would have to pick them up just really can't handle much more, especially at playoff pace. Smith, DeBrusk, Lazar and now Wagner are a cut OR two below Pastrnak. More for them would be less for the Bruins. I was only able to watch the 3rd period of today's game but I see Pastrnak played almost 22M. Your premise has merit but the Bruins playing for their playoff lives probably precludes it. We will see what the next game brings.

Debrusk has been so much better than pastrnak. I jsut don’t get why they strayed from the original lineup.

Because the original lineup had them down 2-0 and headed for a first round exit. They had to flip the script. You can say what you want about Pasrtnak but Bergeron and Marchand are much better 5 on 5 with him at RW rather than anyone else. Now Carolina gets the match ups they want. We will see what the next game brings.

Didn’t have a thing to do with pastrnak. He sucked in game 3. And he didn’t exactly light the world on fire in game 4. Debrusk has been better, and ideally the lineup is a lot deeper with pastrnak with hall and haula.

Not sure what we can learn from the first two games other than, “if Bergeron and marchand play the worst games of their careers, the bruins aren’t going to win frequently.” Not a shock.
