People seem to forget the high hit on Rakell that has left him out of the series as well as Trouba's elbow to Jake in the neck at the beginning of the last game. It is undeniable that Gallant is telling his players to go high and play dirty

The TV angle I saw was w/ KK's #'s to the camera. Thus Marchand was facing the frame head-on but "cloaked" by KK; you would not see the sneaky-little spear.
However, the referee had plain sight from the corner/side, 4min was given & BM sauntered to the box w/ no argument - guilty as charged.

Its such a weird rule as in rule 3.6 what Point did is against that rule, but then in 9.6 its partially accepted

NHLPA or whoever is in charge might need to rectify the rules as when 2 rules collide with one another it can get confusing

As I believe Marner pointed it out in relation to 3.6 but Refs used 9.6 as the basis.

@mcgruff not to spam you, i saw an angle on twitter from walt ruff. that seems to tell me the "spear" was before they crossed center ice, not that it was actually a spear... but idk how you call the "spear" but not the slash, or the instigator after, kotka loses it and just goes right after marchand, doesnt appear to be interested in playing hockey at all honestly.
