UGH. Blues comments sections are excruciating after a loss. Once you get past the other teams' trolls (so so many trolls... even from teams we aren't playing ATM), you have the large percentage of Blues fans (40%? 50%? is it 60? I dunno) who 1) don't let their lack of a foggiest clue about hockey stop them from explaining everything to everyone & 2) turn on players and/or the team at the drop of a hat (we are down 2-1! it's over AGHHHHHH!!!!). It's pathetic.

Thank **** Leddy and Bortuzzo are with the team in practice today. It appears Krug will be out for "some time" (as Berube put it just now), but we can definitely level this thing if those two are back for game 4.

I thought WASH played an unbelievable game, minus the early penalties. They're just not a flashy, exciting team, so it looks mediocre when they play really well. Their puck battles were amazing. They forced tons of turnovers. And they ground the Panthers into dust w/ their physicality.

I’m not sure it’s Florida that would have given Colorado a hard time, but I agree, Colorado looks like they should be winning the cup this season, I don’t see any team really getting in their way too much.

St.Louis/Minnesota - who ever wins this series will be beaten and bloody by the other team and will have underlying injuries that could massively effect them vs Colorado, who should be relatively healthy after an easier series vs Nashville.

Pacific - Calgary poses the biggest threat imo, if Markstrom gets hot with that team defence they could be dangerous, but their lack of scoring is concerning. Edmonton, Smith will get lit up like a Christmas tree and McDaivd and Draisaitl will have to carry them, but that’s just not enough.

That’s just to get to the cup, but it’s too early to tell the cup finals yet.

Regular season is the real pre-season.

They have suspect goaltending, outside of Weegar and Ekblad, a brutal Dcore, players with unsustainable shooting %, and a core group with just as many demons about playoff success and getting past the 1st round like the Leafs.

I mean, Ekblad-Weegar, Montour, Gudas, Forsling and Chiarot is a pretty good top 6, Bob was always a concern but the hope was that defence could help it. That forward core is elite too
