Bergeron will start doing 1yr deals. Forbort is a little overpaid, but he's been a big part of the Bruins PK.

Bruins had a Top 10 PK this year and no one on the Bruins had more PK TOI than Forbort did. Of the top 75 d-men in PK TOI this Forbort ranked:

TOI - 7th
SA/60 - 20th
xGA/60 - 20th
SCA/60 - 23rd
HDCA/60 - 30th

The numbers don't seem support your theory that he wasn't good on the PK. In fairness I wouldn't expect someone who doesn't watch the team regularly to know how he was on the PK this year.

Forbort on the PK tonight has just been so terrible, only 6 blocked shots....what a bum

Forbort has been excellent so far in a defensive defenseman role. 3 mill is too much, but a good PKer

Forbort played 23M last night and blocked 9 shots in total. He has his limitations but he is a gamer. Showed that in spades yesterday.
