I'd love Miller but that's way too much for a guy we wouldn't be able to re-sign. Guerin should be fired on the spot if he trades Rossi solely because we will need his contract to get through the Parise/Suter buyouts (assuming he's at least half as good as he's projected to be).

That Minny trade makes no sense.


Rossi is going to be a great forward, Greenway is part of an insane defensive line.

The picks probably don't happen as Guerin likes to keep draft picks and build through the draft.

That’s a good point with the buyouts. You could also see this miller move as a sort of last chance with that looming on the horizon, going all in before the capocalypse arrives. It’s not outside the realm of possibility

It would have been more realistic a possibility before last season, but I get the impression it would take a deal for a barzal or Petterson to move rossi as they are what he is expected to grow into as a player. Skilled 1C around 23-24 years old
