I’m not going to nitpick on salaries or term, just pointing out I like those 6 D. Plus in 1 to 3 years Ghule & Norlinder on the left and Mailloux on the right. The D is going to look good for many years

Romanov isn't signing that long for that low, he's already being used as the top LD playing big minutes.
Barron will be in laval next year for sure.
Petry will get more than that, he finished the season with 21pts in 29GP back to old form.

I have 2 comments:

1) I think quite a few of your signings are under market value by 250-750K... But you have the cap flexibility there so who cares if you pay Romanov and a few others more money.

2) I don't like the layout of your forward lines. Drouin should be on a line where his puck distribution skills are needed. Suzuki and Caufield need someone to go into the dirty areas for them like Anderson/Gally. Maybe Mikheyev can try out there?

Similar thoughts on Dvorak's line. I really liked Dvorak centering Drouin and Anderson. I think that line can have success if Drouin can stay healthy. Dvorak is more of a set play guy... Like the bumper on the power play. Gally cannot pass. Anderson can pass but prefers to shoot. Not a lot of chemistry there.

I dont think they would sign Mikhayev. Rem had more points and will be cheaper. With the sheer number of wing prospects (RHP Ylonen teasdale Roy Farrell etc.) coming in the next year or so I dont think they would be too keen on committing term to another winger. They likely just push Rem up a line and plug byron into the 4th line.
