Sabres pass immediately. Atahanasiou isn’t exactly the best signing for what the Canes need in that 2LW spot. Like Järnkrok, but he would be playing with Staal and Fast if the Canes chose to sign Trocheck over Nino, which that scenario I am pretty sure doesn’t happen. I do think it will be Nino over Trocheck. Roussel, Tierney, and Slewban are just wasted signings. Resign Stepan, Lorentz, and bring up Chatfield instead. Raanta probably gets traded to allow Kochetkov to be the backup. DeAngelo probably gets half of what you ar paying him. If Necas bridges, it will be a 3 year deal, because the Canes don’t need the extra hassle of resigning Necas when it comes time for Aho, Turbo, Jarvis, Skjei, and Pesce to be resigned. Burakovsky or Nichushkin or even Forsberg will likely be targeted in the off-season over Athanasiou. Also, since Drury is almost guaranteed a roster spot next year, I don’t think Trocheck gets resigned.

TDA isn’t getting half of 4.3 million. Not a chance. Raanta, if traded, wouldn’t be until camp starts. Even then, with us carrying LTIR, it wont make a ton of sense to trade him. It would be harder to fill the 2 million gap so close to the start of the season.

Yeah my bad. Another canes fan said maybe a dumo, bear swap with a late round pick coming to us. How would you feel about that?

We are looking roster upgrade or a draft day deal for a pick that will get us a player we really like. 2nd rounder or so.

What was Dumo’s issue this season? He didn’t have a good year compared to his last 2. I don’t mind the deal.

Hes been fine really, we just need to start getting younger and start to get POJ in the lineup full time

His ratings on Evolving hockey are lower than previous years. Didn’t know if he had slowed or had the worst draws of the other defenders.

Hes getting older idk. He is still a good defenseman and even though he doesnt put up great offensive numbers, hes always been a + rating Sonics defense is still really good
