OEL waived his NMC only to be traded to Vancouver. No way he waives it for MTL.

I think a Miller for Nylander swap is more likely.

Dumping Myers contract would cost a mid round pick, not the other way around.

Montreal is absolutely not taking on the term of OEL's contract unless they're sending a big money bad contract with term the other way.

You Canucks fans can troll and make fun of Ottawa all you want but the Hamonic deal has worked out very well for Ottawa cause he's been great and there isn't a need for Tyler Myers.

Not when his next contract is going to be in the $9M range and he'll already be 30.

I know about that, but JT Miller is at least a starter even if he doesn't come with an extension because of all the cap space that you'd free up.

Although I think the wiser move is to trade Nylander instead of Marner.

Myers isn't just a cap dump, he's been good this year. Van isn't going to pay to get rid of him.

A 29 year old guy with one year after a career year he'll likely never repeat on an expiring deal his is not a starting point for mitch marner, no

He's got one year left and he has been a consistent 70-80 point preformer that would play great in the playoffs.

So you add him to marner, not for marner, who is better in every single way

No space for Myers though.

If you agree to swap Myers and Zaitsev then yes it's possible

He's had only two seasons above 70, with this season being one of them. Doesn't really scream consistency.
