Description
im so tired with how soft this team has been, cassidy is such a soft coach and completely takes the intensity out of so many players (Backes, Frederic, Foligno, etc) i want some goons some guys that can ring guys bells day in, day out i want players who aren't afraid to defend and fight for their teammates when they are getting picked on and most of all sweeney can we please move on from the 5'9 dmen? Grzelcyk is one hell of a dman but i want more size on our team

i'd be willing to package Grzelcyk+ for any of the following dmen
-theodore
-Chychrun
-brodin
-hanifin
-provorov/ or sanheim
-orlov
-sergachev

Ahhhh good. We’re at that point of the season…the point where bruins fans channel their inner felger and Mazz and just start saying soft as much as possible. The bruins were soft last night. No question. I don’t think folks should be too reactionary. But if we’re going to do it, do it right.

Grzelcyk was so far from the problem last night. If you want to hold the guys that were soft last night accountable, lets do it. It starts with Bergeron, Marchand, and Pastrnak. And before we even go down the road, yes, I’m aware that Bergeron had two goals last night. A puck banked in off him, and a rebound landed on his stick with an empty net. That was still his worst game as a professional hockey player. He was horrible.

Pastrnak had a bigger effect on that game than any other player. First with the dumb penalty, and then just turning and looking at Slavin pinching down right before the second goal.

So if we’re going to do it, lets do it. You’re sick of soft play, where you trading pastrnak to?

Not really the point here, but why do you think calgary would be looking to restructure their blue line?

In general I find any AGM that involves multiple trades where bottom of the lineup players are swapped for picks to be unrealistic.

The holds true for this AGM as well

Flames keep Hanifin but will sell you one slightly used Lucic. You do want the big bad Bruins right?

pastrnak and grzelcyk aren't even close skilled wise. grzelcyk is a -14 in his last 26 games he isnt helping worth ****.

as for calgary maybe boston could send them an offer they can't refuse i doubt he is an untradeable player for them just needs to be a strong offer.
cap problems could also lead them to a slight team restructure

No appreciation of Minnesota' cap. Kings have a lot better ways to spend their cap without sending all those picks to the Bruins.
As indicated above , getting rid of iffy cap value for futures don't work for teams for taking on the cap,.

Grzelcyk has been significantly more effective than pastrnak this series.

Now you are just grasping at straws. An offer that Calgary can't refuse for Hanafin? That's McAvoy. Still want to do it. Also, if Calgary wants to navigate cap issues they are not trading a top pairing LD who is making 4.9M for each of the next two seasons.

I don't see any chance of Brodin being moved. He has a full NMC, Guerin loves him, and he's an absolute stud defensively which is something we can't afford to give up.
