As a Sabre fan I would consider that trade, but both Murray and Zaitsev are over paid for their production why would the Sabres need to give up anything?
It would seem to me Ottawa would need to add at least a second to the trade.

IMO most Sabre ACGM's would hate the deal.
When Mike Bales was Murray's GK coach Matt had his best years, maybe his fortunes could be turned around.
While Zaitsev is not a top 2 RHD he does hit and block shots and could be Buffalo best RHD maybe better than Jokiharju or at least close.
Dorian may have mucked up the Turris for Duchene trade (that may have been Sakic's Lindros trade) his other deals have certainly been very good.
Jason Karmanos has done very well since he was appointed Associate GM.
It would certainly be a battle of wills, Dorian dumping cap and Karmanos trying to extract another ounce of flesh.
