LOL no. Blues say absolutely positively no. We just extended him, and there is absolutely no reason to take on an older Hall when Buch got 70 points at 26 years old.

Hahaha, I hope you're just joking around because there is no such thing as a competitive rebuild in this league. A dozen different teams tried doing it and they all ended up capped out as bubble playoff teams. As for your trades well:

1. Flames can't afford it without sending money back

2. I don't think the value is off, but cranky Jet's fans are probably going to roast you anyway

3. Doesn't make sense for St. Louis to do trade a younger more productive forward for an older less productive one, and that amount draft capital isn't worth the difference considering where they are competitively

4. LD is the last thing the Stars need

5. Edmonton won't have cap space

6. Islanders might accept

7. Forbort isn't worth anywhere near a 2nd round pick, heck, I'd argue he has negative value

8. Vegas isn't going to deal Theodore just to unload Dadonov

9. You're dreaming if you think Coyle has that much trade value

10. Reilly ain't worth a 2nd

11. I don't think Vegas wants Nosek back, let alone at that number. They wouldn't have let him walk if they wanted to keep him

Thanks for the comment and feedback smile

1. My thinking is gaudreau won't be back so this is a good replacement for him who can do well under a sutter system

3. I think Hall has under prefomred as a bruin and he is more so closer to the mvp player but Bruins still may need to add a bit more

4. i forgot he was LHD and was sending him there as a Klingberg replacment

5. Fair enough

7. idk your talking about the same team that gave Seth Jones a 9x8 can see them doing something dumb like this again

8. They are going to have add a pretty nice peice no one will be quick to help them

9. a late first for a guy who can help take the rangers over the top i could see happining

10. he has been good maybe worth a 3rd instead

11. Vegas has a caulutre issue and getting one of the golden misfits back who is good in the lockerroom is worth a 5th

Blues have no need, want, or desire for Hall, especially when they're trading the better player.

How is it clear the PLD wants out??? Are we still talking about when EF said that IF PLD doesn't want to sign in WPG long term then he will be traded? That is what happens with every RFA ever.

-As someone else said, I don't think the Flames do this unless they can send money back, there's not enough cap room in Calgary for Marchand.

-I literally haven't seen anything saying that PLD wants out of Winnipeg. The value here isn't bad but I'm assuming the Jets prefer to just keep him on board.

-Buchnevich is younger, cheaper, more productive, and can pass his boater's license on the first try. Bad trade for the Blues.

-Woo baby, this one is bad. I can't see them trading Lindholm for less than they just paid for him, especially considering they just re-signed him to a long term deal, and especially especially considering that deal has a full NTC.

-Probably fair value for Smith but I don't think Edmonton is the right fit for him.

-Isles don't need another center, but would gladly take this deal and trade out Haula for his actual value. He's got a low cap hit and produces at a good rate 5v5, you can probably sneak a 2nd + a pick from a team that needs help at C for him.

-Too rich for Forbort, and what's Chicago doing trading futures for a veteran D during a rebuild?

-This deal might work but I feel like Vegas is going to try to go down other avenues for cap space before they get to Theodore.

-If the Rangers want to pay a center $5.25M on a longer term deal, they probably just keep those picks and re-sign Andrew Copp.

-Reilly's value around here is generally pegged around a 3rd, but this isn't an egregious overvalue. I think Montreal is in the same boat as Chicago though - keep those picks instead of sending them out for mid-tier veterans.

-Probably fair value on Nosek, but probably the wrong team. I think you could probably skip spending $2M+ on Calle Jarnkrok for your 4th line and just keep Nosek at the slightly lower cap hit and not notice much of a difference, though.

Mr. TheTypicalLeafsFan, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

They were not fine, I like the Bruins too, but about halfway through the game they started to play pretty bad hockey.

They carried play for the first 30-35 minutes or so. Puck just wouldn’t go in for them. Then a couple deflections went in. It happens. They carried play for the first stretch of the third period, making it 2-1, and then grizz had a bad pinch. After that they were chasing.

Powerplay was bad, and there was one bad pinch. They outshot the opponent heavily and controlled play for the majority of the game - that’s called fine.

Sure, I am cheering for them as well, but i did not walk away after watching that game feeling like they played a "fine" game. I still believe they have a chance and yes they out shot Carolina, they always out shoot their opponents. Most of those shots are not quality shots.

Last night they had about 800 net front opportunities. Those are going to find their way in eventually.

Listen, i didn’t say they were great, or that they dominated. They were fine. If they play that same game they win the majority of the time. Two deflections went in, and someone scored from behind the net. That doesn’t worry me. I don’t think we learned anything from last night.

There's more to it than two deflections and a behind the net goal. Just like the 3 regular season games between the two teams showed Carolina is the faster, more physical and deeper team. Playing the same game as last night won't cut it for the Bruins. They will need their goalie, whoever it may be, to be airtight and the rest of the team has to elevate their play to a level I don't think they can reach in order to beat the Canes. Will still be cheering them on but have realistic expectations.

If those two teams play the exact same game for the rest of the series, its over in six, and the bruins move on.

When you don't play well and are playing a faster, more physical, deeper and more skilled team you can look bad. It's plain and simple. Boston has to significantly raise their game and get great goaltending to change the momentum of this series. Even then this is a hungry Canes team that in no way wants to lose a third series in four years to the Bruins. Let's see what tomorrow nights game brings.
