    - Armia trade seems reasonable
    - ARZ trade could work
    - I don't think you can trade Drouin at this point. Even if you pay like that. There's still uncertainty with his wrists
    - MTL won't trade any 1st or 2nd round picks for the next 3 years since they are in a rebuild. I also don't think that Winnipeg will llet him go
    - The Marchessault trade could work but once angain, I'm not sure that MTL is willing to trade draft picks this year

Personally, I though Kent Hughes and Jeff Gorton want to be a competitive team, but with somes young talented players and some veterans who will bring some leadership for this team, because they already have a solid prospect pool, but they just missing somes elements (like a 2C). About Drouin, he can have a breakout year with the Sens if he doesn't get injured. About trading draft picks, the mentality of the Habs management is the quality over the quantity.

    Explanation ?

    MTL are rebuilding
They aren’t trading 1st RD picks
They aren’t paying a 2nd RD pick to dump Byron or dumping Drouin
Vegas doesn’t have cap space & MTL aren’t retaining on Petry if he gets traded
    Perron isn’t signing that
    Fleury isn’t signing that
    Bad contract for Pezzetta
IMO if we draft Shane Wright he better no start in the NHL

    - That's can be easily the cost to dump somes contracts.

    - Marchessault outcalled his GM and his team two days ago in a interview. Also, I thnik they received a lot for Marchessault, because Petry cost a lot.

    - Perron will likely sign his final contract with the Habs because he always wanted a day to play with them. About Fleury, that can be dificult, but I can't see how some guys like St. Louis or Lecavalier will try to
convice him to sign with them.

The Winnipeg trade isn't realistic at all. The Jets aren't trading Dubois and with protection on the Montreal first, a late first, a nothing prospect and an average bottom sixer aren't close to the value Winnipeg would require.

I don't think the others teams want to make the same mistake that Chicago did with the Seth Jones trade. I think for Dubois, giving two first round pick and a good player can be enough, and Xhekaj is a top defensman in the OHL.

2 x1st (one lottery protected), a middle 6 NHLer with term and a prospect is pretty close to what Buffalo got for Eichel. Maybe you should lower your expectations lol.

Also, because you don't know a propect doesnt mean he's a "nothing" prospect. Maybe you should learn more about a player before stating your opinion lol.

Yeah you can think that, but you're wrong. Would you take that offer for Suzuki? No. So, there is zero chance the Jets look at it.

No, you're just like all Montreal fans and vastly overrating your players. Would you take that offer for Suzuki? No, you wouldn't and Dubois is worth at least as much as Suzuki.. Trying to call Dvorak middle six when he is clearly bottom 6 shows that you view Montreal players through red tinted glasses.

    1) Dvorak isnt a 4th line player and played the last 2 seasons on a 2nd line. What are you even talking about with your vastly overrating...
    2) Congrats on deflecting my argument on Eichel's value to bring up Suzuki out of nowhere.
    3) So did you google Xhekaj yet?

    Ouff.....

You compared a futhermore Selke trophy winner for a 2C maybe 1C, and you think they have the same value....... And you said after that Habs fans always overhype their players?

I'm 100% sure that if Dubois was on the trade market, Cheveldayoff will not asking Suzuki because he know that the others GM will think that he is delusional.

Rose tinted glasses. Rose. That's the expression and it means to be optimistic. Maybe you confused it with "Seeing red", which means being angry (which you seem to be any time a Dubois trade is proposed in this make-believe ACGM world).

    You need to chill, bro.

Lol. So, you need to make stuff up to try and make a point.

I never said Dvorak was a 4th liner. I said he's an expensive average bottom sixer.

Xhekaj is an undrafted and unneeded by Winnipeg nothing special LD prospect.

Congrats on trying to compare something like the Eichel trade that isn't comparable to anything we're talking about.

Lol. What selke winner are a talking about? There's a reason Montreal fans keep begging for Dubois, they know that Suzuki can't handle 1C duties.
