I wonder if VGK considers moving Karlsson, would BOS have any interest? Or is that contract too concerning considering his recent play?

Money would need to go the other way
Maybe a swap Coyle vs Karlsson ?

Shouldn’t Boston trade Ullmark , Reilly and maybe another depth forward and just sign Kadri?

Simply put: no. Haula is playing better than Karlsson.

Looks like he is, at least short term. The ideal scenario is getting a younger guy that can play 2C, and then step into the 1C role when Bergeron is done (one year deal for him btw). Thats tough to do. I think the bruins top nine is set for this year and next.

Copp wouldn't be a bad option either. I just get worried about giving a 32 year old Kadri the kind of contract he's gonna want after the career year he's had. The way he plays-- I don't see that contract holding up.

Coyle has been a good 3c. Any salary that gets moved would have to come from the left side of the defense. Most likely candidate being Reilly as he has no trade protection

Let me give @xercuses and @csick props for always trying to make ACGM for teams they don't cheer for. May not always know a lot about the teams they post but at least they go for it.

Haul a has the ability to play with better players and not be out of place but he isn't going to elevate anybody. If he stays then you need too keep him between hall and pasta and move lysell up instead. If I had to sign a ufa to replace him I'd sign strome, he won't be crazy expensive but he's better than haula and seems a good fit.

Copp will be 28 and his production is boosted by playing with top line offensive players so if he's looking for anything above 4x$4.5M, it's risky. Strome and Trocheck will also be 29. Giroux/Malkin if they're interested short-term but the most likely option is via trade.

Was he playing with top offensive guys in WPG? Not sure what line he was running most with there-- true with NYR and Panarin though. But also shows that he can play well with high-skilled guys. So maybe putting him with Marchand + Bergeron and then letting Hall play with Pastrnak would help balance out the top 6 and give them two threatening offensive lines. And as far as Copp's age-- I'm definitely less worried about that with him than I am with Kadri.

Why would they? Ullmark started a little slow, but had a very strong finish to the season with a .933 SV% over his last 15 games. Barring an injury he'll be their starter in game 1 of the playoffs.

Because Swayman should be the #1 and you could use the cap somewhere else by signing a cheap backup

Swayman is their goalie of the future, but he's only got 50 games under his belt right now. This season both guys finished with 20+ wins. One guys posted a .915 sv% while the other posted a .917 sv%, so its not like Swayman has out-performed Ullmark. Not to mention Ullmark and Swayman are very close and have been borderline inseparable this season. With Ullmark's NMC in effect until next off-season, I don't see them moving him. It also gives Swayman another year where he doesn't have to be the bonafide #1 and he can continue to split time with Ullmark.

I don't see the Bruins doing anything drastic this off-season:

    -Re-sign Bergeron
-One of Forbort/Reilly probably get moved
-Foligno potentially gets moved or bought out
-DeBrusk could move if the right deal comes along, but Boston is in no rush to move him (even with a trade request).
