I like how people get mad at him when he doesn't make changes and try something new and when he does people still yell at him. He's doing his job We have so many options and he's trying to make something click.

Because he's making the wrong changes. Rakell was a beast on Crosby's line and had no chemistry on Malkin's. McGinn has not fit in well playing with Malkin in the past at all. Kapanen is atrocious game in and game out and is still getting chances. Makes no sense.

No chemistry? That line combined for 2 goals in their first game. It's his job to make changes so don't blame him. It's not his fault that we lost on Sunday. It was the team in front of Domingue. Also, why do you think he keeps putting Kapanen in? He's giving him knew linemates to see if he will produce. If he can't, Boyle will play over him. Simple as that

rust has 1 point in his last 12 I believe so I get the idea behind it. But Heinen on the fourth line bugs me a lot. He’s been a million times better than kapanen and he’s shown chemistry with malkin to be put on L2

Kapanen has been solid he just wasn't getting puck luck and it affected his confidence.

He hasn't been solid at all. 19 of his last 40 games he has had 0 or 1 shot on goal. How is that not getting puck luck.

How is it not his fault they lost on Sunday. It's no one persons fault, it's multiple people's fault including the coach. His system is wearing thin and it is just not working at all. Can't play a speed and constant forechecking game with an older and slower team. It's his job to get the team motivated as well. Kapanen has been on every line this year and has not produced on any of them.

I think it is because he is not playing with Sid anymore. Theres a trend that when players are on the first line they're great but on the second line they go cold. It's because Sid makes everyone around him better. But moving Rust to the first and Rakell to the second dosen't do anything. It just moves the problem around. It's time to consider bigger roster changes if players can only get hot on the first line.

I think we let rust go tbh and keep rakell. Honestly now I’m leaning towards getting rid of Malkin too
